Born and raised in the state of Maine. In the year 2000, I moved to the warmer climate of San Diego. Here, I met my wife and we started our family, making a home in Southern California with our two kiddos.

My Father was a concrete contractor and brick mason. I started working and learning with him from the age of 13. After learning the concrete and masonry trade and graduating high school, I shifted to expand my education in all trades. Moving to San Diego, I learned the fine art of cabinetry, millwork and finish carpentry from a local company, further expanding my skill set.

I started JMW-Custom Builders Inc in 2004. It is the culmination of all my skills, relationships and resources from years of collaboration. This company is built to provide you with quality and offer support and expertise to make your projects come to life.
